Hi, I'm Maddie Gartman, and today I'll show you how I use a projector to enhance Cookies. Projectors are a great way to use lettering. Create characters by simply tracing an image. So the projector that we'll be working with today is a wireless projector. There are many different types that you can find.
I like this Kodak Luma projector. I have my projector on a stand. This is an Arcon mount. And I have it screwed in on the back using the screw attachment because the clamp one Is just a little bit too small. So, what that means is the projected image is actually going to look backward to me.
So I have to make sure that I'm actually flipping all of my images. But if you have the clamp option, you can turn your projector the other way. So that it looks forward. What’s great is that this whole thing operates on Bluetooth. So I just turned my projector on now.
I'm going to select wireless as the method. Want to use to project my image. I could plug it into my phone or my PC, but I don’t want to deal with such wires. So all I do is go on my phone and find the exact same Wi-Fi. Which in this is listed as Kodak.
Make sure I'm on that Wi-Fi, then I'm going to make sure my phone is mirrored. So I'm going to swipe down and choose the Mirror option. It's going to take a second to think it over and then once it syncs up, The image on my phone is now projected And, like I said, This is actually upside down, so it's upside down on my phone. But it projects, um. The right direction.
What's cool is that you can use your mount to make it bigger or smaller. Every projector usually has a way to focus, making it a little more fine-tuned, A little bit less blurry and much sharper. But once you have it all lined up, you can simply project your image right onto it Cookie and start piping. The only thing you have to worry about is making sure that you’re piping in a way that Doesn't block the projected image from you seeing it. So, I always keep my piping bag angled, more than I normally would, so that It does not block the original image, and I can see exactly where I'm going.
But projectors are a great tool to have if you're ready to upgrade your cookie game. Invest a little in this tool because it can create some amazing, perfect details on you Cookies.
