Hi Donna,
Below is what our expert had to say:
The best thing you can do is allow the airbrushing to dry fully in between color applications. Placing a fan near your work surface will speed up this process, BUT don’t run the fan while airbrushing as you will have an even bigger mess on your hands.

When using more than one color you may be able to mask off portions of the design. Most stencils made for multiple color application will come in layered sets, but you can always use tape to mask off portions as needed.
